Back to winning ways for the reserves after a tough match with Georgeham & Croyde at the Sports Ground.

3 changes fro the team that drew in midweek with Shamwickshire, Niall Heeney, Oli Cole and Ian Keen coming in for Jack Langford, Sam Schiller and Danny Slee. Bideford caught their visitors cold with the first attack when Ian Keen fired in his second goal of the week inside the first minute. The crowd were hoping this would be a sign of things to come but a dogged performance by Georgeham prevented Bideford from adding to their tally until the very last minute of the game. Danny Slee playing on the right of the box fired a speculative shot towards the goal were it found its way into the net off the unfortunate goalkeeper Matt Turner. Harsh on Georgeham who showed they are no pushovers and are certainly better than their 11th place in the league suggests.

Several contenders for man of the match but I have to especially pick out Matt Downing for his all round effort. He was often at the heart of the attack and then found helping out the defence when Georgeham were on one of their many forays into the Bideford half.

Good to see Matt Bryce and Oli Cole back in the fray.
